February Wrap-Up

February 2006; what did we learn?

* Switchgrass is a fuel substitute
* Birdshot to the face from 30 yards won't kill you (at least not if you're a lawyer).
* We do business with some countries that support terrorism and do not recognize Israel (the UAE), but only the real rich ones.
* Civil War is a good thing...if you are a delusional, stupid, or a FOX news commentator.
...more to come...

Oh Cindy...

It looks like Cindy Sheehan was invited to attend the SOTU last night, but was arrested for showing up! Now, they are saying that she was arrested for protesting, but this is a lie. She was wearing a t-shirt that tallied the number of US soldiers dead in Iraq. Does wearing a shirt constitute a protest? They escorted her out of the chamber without asking her to cover up the t-shirt first. It continues to look like her son died for a country that is slowly disolving. Freedom of speech? What is that?

Switchgrass!!!

One word sums up the whole speech: "SWITCHGRASS"!

It is ironic that an oil man such as Bush, who has done his best to help out his oil men friends (like the Bin Ladens), and who has done more to curtail our ability to explore alternate fuels than any other president in the last 30 years, can bring himself to talk about such things as ethanol and switchgrass.
